Activity: Informing and involving the school community in the project.
Description: In meetings with all the teachers in each school, the project is illustrated in detail and its goals clearly explained.
The schools' websites launch the project and articles are sent to the local newspapers. Parents are informed of the project in class assemblies and newsletters. In specific meetings, referent teachers discuss with interested teachers how to get involved in the project. Teachers of art, history, geography, science, European languages, religion, ethics, etc also learn to use the project's ICT tools (digital timelines & mindmaps, eTwinning) and make an interdisciplinary teaching plan on heritage-related topics (cultural, natural, ethical) to include in their official curricular programme. Romanian team creates the project website.
